WebGUI Templates HQ was upgraded today to 7.8.9.
26 Oct 2009 - Style Templates
I've added support for IE targeting in style templates via conditional divs. Read more in the wiki.
Affected style templates are:
- Fail Safe
- Make Page Printable
- WebGUI 6 Blank Style
- Style 01
- Style 02
- Style 03
15 Oct 2009 - Wiki
Today I cleaned up the WebGUI Templates HQ wiki (template documentation). The templates that are committed are now all documented. Some pages have been removed, but are still available here.
I have also added a convention for documenting templates (and some general rules for the wiki): how to document a template.
12 Oct 2009 - Collaboration
You may have noticed that all the collaboration templates in the template list have now been assigned to me. This is because I'll be working on those with three of my colleagues at United Knowledge: Inge, Marieken and Zeno.
Luckily, we are only "very busy" this month (instead of "horrendously busy", like in the weeks before the WUC), so we should be able to spend enough time on them to make the templates clean, robust and consistent. Being able to discuss the project in person will certainly make it an easier process. We aim to finish them before december 1st.
8 Oct 2009 - New Projects (and old)
There has been a lot of discussion on the TWG forum and in the RFE list on a couple of subjects. Each of those subjects is now a project, assigned to one or more group members.
These projects will be documented on this site. They are the following:
- Forms specification (Andy)
- Stylesheets (Tabitha)
- Theming process (Rogier & Patrick)
Furthermore, the documentation of best practices wil be an ongoing process (will be done by Diona, Rory and Rogier), as well as documenting new templates in the Wiki (which will actually work after the upgrade of this site to 7.8.1).
Keeping track of Bugs and RFE's and assigning them to TWG members is part of the QA process, so it will be the task of Tessa and Rogier.
You have all been assigned (a set of) templates in the template list. The target deadline for the next set of templates is December 1st. This means that all but the committing should be done before that date, so we can give the community a nice Christmas present.
